A Doon School, Hindu College & New York Film Academy Alumnus, Kartik Bajoria spent a decade in the Film & Television Industry in Mumbai working as a Writer, Director & Producer. Since moving back to Jaipur in 2013, he has indulged his passion for Education by Teaching extensively through one-on-one lessons and short as well as long-term Workshops at a number of schools, colleges & universities. He specializes in the areas of Writing & Communications. Kartik has also created a rich repository of intellectual property. A Writer & Commentator on Education & Parenting, his writing regularly features in publications such as The Hindu, The Times of India, The Deccan Herald & Chronicle, The Statesman, The Indian Express, The Entrepreneur & Business World. Kartik is a sought-after Speaker and is routinely invited to be part of various Education, Parenting & Culture related events, conferences & seminars. He is also an astute Host & Literary Moderator and serves on the Boards of several Cultural, Youth & Literature Festivals.

Kartik’s passion for writing, which he discovered reading English at Hindu College in Delhi University, has morphed into a diverse career that includes Writing across various media. Writing on Fashion & Lifestyle Online & in Print to more intellectual pieces in journals such as The Book Review; Kartik’s Authored Writing has become more specialized recently. Since moving back from Bombay to his home-town of Jaipur, Kartik indulges his love of Writing through Teaching and writing Columns for various Traditional & Online platforms. He has become a Regular Commentator & Contributor on Education and his articles are featured pan-India across a wide range of reputed publications. The Hindu, Entrepreneur, Business World, The Indian Express, The Times Of India (where he writes his regular blog Rummage Room), TOI’s Newspaper In Education, YourStory, The Afternoon are some leading newspapers and portals where Kartik’s writing features regularly. His wife Anuja and he are a Ghost Writing team and have together written a variety of Fiction & Non Fiction material for clients across the world. They also undertake professional Editing projects.
Kartik’s long-cherished dream of Teaching started coming to fruition when he became the Media Studies Consultant at Edify World School. Since then, he has branched out and become an independent Identity Enhancement (Personality-Development), Creative Writing & Communications teacher, Mentoring Short & Long-Term Workshops at various schools, colleges & stand-alone locations. Kartik is always mindful of doing work that embodies a strong social conscience. He is currently enjoying his stint as a visiting Lecturer at many schools and colleges and actively pursuing his role as the Writing Faculty at the experimental Media School TOSS – The Open Space Society. Always hungry to reach a wider audience of students and share knowledge, Kartik has recently made a foray into ONLINE Teaching where he conducts classes over skype/phone calls.
Kartik also draws on his wealth of professional and academic knowledge from having studied at some premier institutions the world over and from his decade-long experience across the Media Industry in Bombay. A New York Film Academy alumnus, Kartik is intimately versed with all aspects of the film-making process. Having assisted on many films including Aamir Khan’s smash-hit Ghajini, he possesses a keen knowledge of production, direction, casting, art direction as well as writing. In Mumbai, Kartik amassed invaluable experience in the Advertising & Television Industries; working first on National Brands such as the Gem & Jewelry Export Promotion Council of India, Venky’s Chicken, Sandpiper & Zingaro Beverages, and subsequently as a Producer & Writer, developing content for leading national channels such as Zoom & NDTV in the Lifestyle programming space, scripting the hit TV show ‘Whats with Indian Men” amongst others.
His childhood passions, Hindustani Classical Music & Squash, both of which he formally trained in at his alma mater the Doon School, Dehra Dun, continue to inspire him, and impregnate his thinking, philosophy, and overall aesthetic.
Kartik is also active in many Cultural Pursuits and regularly Speaks at seminars, conferences individually and as a panelist. He also moderates/hosts Author Interactions, Book Readings and is routinely invited to speak at and to Moderate/Host Literary Panel Discussions and Events ranging from intimate Author Interactions to larger platforms such as Book Fairs. Kartik also serves as Board Member for various Festivals.
